Reservations

Please note that different conditions may apply to different online bookings through shortstayheerenveen.nl and its affiliated websites, depending on the booking channel. This agreement applies to telephone and online bookings. 

Booking

Our appartments can be booked from a duration of 7 days up to half a year. You can make a reservation via our website, but also by e-mail or telephone. If you are an organisation looking for a appartments for an employee, please contact us by phone or email to discuss the business possibilities.

Rates

At Short Stay Appartments Heerenveen we use the following tariff types:
Short Stay Rate:            7-28 nights
Long Stay Rate:             29+ nights

Our rates are including 9% VAT. These costs cover the following aspects: use of fully furnished flat including fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, use of bed and kitchen linen and towels, electricity, TV and internet.

Additional rates are the tourist tax of € 2,00 per person per night, extra cleaning moment(s), placing of extra furniture or laundry service.

Payment and deposit

Valid credit card details are required when making a reservation to guarantee your reservation. If you do not have a credit card, it is also possible to make a deposit to guarantee your reservation.

All reservations of 7 - 28 nights will be charged to your credit card 7 days before the arrival date or must be paid in advance by bank transfer. If you are making a last minute reservation, your reservation must be paid 100% before arrival.

Staying several months? The monthly fee (or part thereof) will be charged automatically 2 days before the start of the next monthly period.
For business customers, we offer the possibility of paying on account (payment period 30 days). Ask our Service Team for information.

Guarantee

Valid credit card details will be requested as a deposit during your stay, allowing you to have everything charged to your room account.

Cancellations and changes

All reservations may be cancelled without charge up to 14 days prior to the arrival date. If you cancel your booking within 14 days and 24 hours before arrival, you will be charged 50% of your booking.

If cancelled within 24 hours of arrival or in case of no-show, the full amount will not be refunded. The calculation of the arrival date is based on a check-in time of 15.00 hours.

Changes in date or number of nights will incur different rates and are subject to availability.

If you decide not to complete your entire reservation, you must submit an official cancellation request 5 days before the new check-out date to receive a full refund of the remaining nights.

For changes regarding reservations that were not made directly with Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen - please use the change options of the channel/company used to make your original booking.

Check-In

We guarantee that your room will be ready by 15:00 on the day of arrival. Would you like to arrive earlier? Please contact the service line and we will discuss the possibilities.

Check-in instructions will be sent with the booking confirmation. We offer a personal check-in service between 15:00 and 17:00 on location.

After 17:00 we will check you in at our support location. We ask you to call our service number +310513 201038 when you are about 15 minutes away from the flat.

Our host will meet you at the accommodation to give you the keys. Our host will meet you at the apartment to give you the keys and will also give you information about the accommodation and the neighbourhood.

Check-Out

You should check out by 11:00 on the day of departure.

If you wish to stay longer, please contact the service department, so we can inform you about the possibilities of a late check-out.

All incidental charges must be paid at check-out.
You can use the credit card you provided upon check-in or use any other preferred payment method.

When leaving the flat we ask you to do the following:
- Turn on the dishwasher (if necessary)
- Throw away all the rubbish
- Have all keys ready (bicycle locker)
- Check that you have taken all personal belongings

Report any damage or defects to our host/hostess so that we can arrange for replacement or repair.

Internet

All of our apartments have a high quality broadband WiFi (wireless) internet connection. The use of internet is free of charge. Our connection speed is ideal for accessing corporate intranets, downloading large files and surfing the web fast.

Washing machine

There is a laundry room available where you can use the washing machine and dryer. You can use this free of charge.

Bicycle rental/storage

Our location has a large closed bicycle shed where you can park your bicycles. If you do not have a bicycle, you can easily hire one at Profile Chris Jacobs, located 200 metres from our location, and can be reached by telephone at +31(0)513-622039.

Taxi

We would recommend our partner Carcab for your taxi transport. They also offer taxi services to the various airports. For more information: www.carcab.frl

Parking

Unfortunately, our apartment complex does not have its own free parking facilities. However, there is a secure parking garage just 150 metres from Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen.

Shopping

Our apartments are right in the centre of Heerenveen. So you can easily walk to the various shops. The nearest supermarket is only 200 metres from our apartments.

PETS

Pets are not allowed at Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen.

Children and babies

Because Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen is an ideal place to live and work, we are not the ideal location for children. The apartments can only be booked for 1 or 2 adults.

Television channels

Our apartments have a wide range of television with Dutch, English and German channels.

Tranquillity

Our guests want to make the most of the apartments for working and living. Therefore, please use the flats and public areas responsibly and show consideration for your neighbours, both inside and outside the building. (No excessive noise after 22:00).

smoking and drugs

According to Dutch law it is not allowed to smoke in the building or on the balcony. If you smoke in your flat, we have to charge a minimum of €250 deep cleaning fee.

It is not allowed to use drugs in the entire apartment complex.

Breakfast and dinner

We do not offer breakfast service but can inform you about restaurants in the neighbourhood that offer breakfast service.

Damages or losses

Every flat is provided with a laptop safe for storage of personal valuables. Short Stay Appartments Heerenveen can not be held responsible for theft or loss of belongings in the apartment complex.

Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the apartments and public areas, including, without limitation, damages and losses caused by fire, robbery or criminal behaviour.

Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen cannot be held liable for injury to a person, loss of, or damage to property of a person staying/visiting Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen.

Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen cannot be held liable for any damages caused by third parties.

responsibility

We expect from everybody staying at Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen that he/she takes all reasonable care of Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen's property.

Please report any damage, loss or improper cleanliness of your flat, because we want to restore it as soon as possible so you feel at home. Moreover, this prevents you from being held responsible for any damage or loss during or after your stay.

In the event of leaving your apartments or any other area of the apartment complex with any damage, missing items or heavy soiling, your credit card used at check-in or booking may be charged for the associated costs.

Personal Data

Your personal details are safe with us. We will remember your details for when you return. Under no circumstances will any of the systems used by Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen store credit card details.

In any case where false or misleading personal information is provided intentionally, Short Stay Apartments Heerenveen reserves the right to cancel the reservation and hold the guest responsible for all costs that may arise as a result of the false or misleading provision of information.
